The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced the release of Request for Proposal for the title sponsorship rights for the Women’s Premier League season 2023-2027. “The BCCI invites bids from reputed bodies for securing the title sponsorship rights for the Women’s Premier League season 2023-2027,” said a statement from the sport’s governing body in the country.
The detailed terms and conditions governing the tender process including eligibility requirements, procedure for submission of bids, rights and obligations of Title Sponsor etc. are contained in the ‘Request for Proposal’ (RFP), which will be made available upon receipt. Payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakh only) plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax. The procedure for receiving the RFP documents is listed in Annex A of this notice. The RFP will be available for purchase until February 9, 2023.
Interested parties are requested to email details of payment made for procurement of RFP as per the procedure laid down in Annexure A to rfp@bcci.tv. It is clarified that the RFP documents will be shared only after confirmation of payment. of non-refundable RFP fee.
Any interested party wishing to submit a bid is required to purchase the RFP. However, only those fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed in the RFP and subject to other terms and conditions prescribed therein will be eligible to bid. It is clarified that mere purchase of RFP does not entitle a person to bid.
BCCI reserves the right to cancel or modify the bidding process at any stage without assigning any reason.

BCCI received a total bid of Rs 4669.99 crore for the women’s IPL which is more than the men’s IPL in 2008.
Adani Group, Capri Global, and owners of men’s IPL teams Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore won bids to buy five women’s IPL teams following an auction held ahead of the first season of the tournament, which will be held. In March of this year.

The players’ auction will be held in the first week of February and the auction purse will be Rs 12 crore (about $1.46 million) per franchise.
