In-form sprinters odds shorten to win Australia Stakes

Jigsaw is the well-backed favorite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race in the Mooney Valley, Australia Stakes (1200m) this afternoon.

The Cindy Alderson-trained gelding is in full flight this time around and seeks to follow in the path of Marabi from last year, a quality mare who won the Christmas/Australia/Oakley treble. Opened at $3.20 and is well tried at $2.90.

Standish winner Snapper is on the second line of the betting at $4.20, clear of the $4.80 quality mare Turath, who is up and placed first.
