Mitch Payton’s Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team has suffered another blow in 2023, as Seth Haymaker has suffered an injury and will be ruled out of the Monster Energy Supercross Series 250 East field. Hamker’s injury is severe enough to require surgery on both his hand and wrist, which is scheduled for this coming Friday. We will wait for more news on the severity of the injury but as of now, we will say that he is likely to be back for the pro motocross season. We wonder if this will change the PC team’s approach with fill-in rider Carson Mumford, maybe keeping him on the east coast to run the entire series with Joe Shimoda? We’ll wait and see.
