Unfortunately, Marvin Muskin of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing squad will not be on the start line at this weekend’s round of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross series in Anaheim. Muskin crashed while practicing for San Diego in the previous round, and injured his wrist, but did not see enough improvement to consider a return in Anaheim 2.
Muskin fell more than a week ago, however, and there has been no explanation for his injury. It is rumored that he has received many votes, yet KTM only mentions that he has received “miss at least the next few rounds of the seasonVague for a wrist injury that happened more than a week ago, no?
Thankfully, Muskin shed more light on his injury in his quote. ,For this injury which happened last Wednesday, it is not ideal to practice at the start of this season,, she commented. ,You prepare yourself for three months and to only run one race in Anaheim and get injured is obviously disappointing. All I can do right now is wait and do whatever I can to heal. There is a broken bone and a sprain, but how long I will be out is a bit unknown. I’ll go by feel, day after day, week after week, and see how it goes. that’s all i can do,,
It’s a shame for Muskin to miss the time in what is expected to be his final stint in Monster Energy Supercross, as he certainly is desperate for redemption after a mediocre race at Anaheim 1. The fact is that the ’25’ reached the finish line in twelfth. Not an accurate representation of his speed, as he actually qualified in third and was on the board in both timed sessions. However, for some reason these two did not come together in the main event.
